Dr. Ryan Patel
Ryan Patel , O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Ryan K. Patel specializes in comprehensive vision care for individuals of all ages, dry eye syndrome, low vision care, specialty contact lens fittings, and the treatment and management of various ocular diseases.
Dr. Patel graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007. He received many awards and honors including the Presidential Scholarship and the National Optometric Student Association High Academic Achievement Award. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Association, National Optometric Student Association, amongst others. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Patel completed an optional, one-year residency at VA Medical Center Eye Clinic in Lake City, Florida where he specialized in primary care and low vision. He completed his externship in pediatrics, binocular vision, and primary care optometry at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his externship in specialty contact lens fitting at Broward Eye Care Associates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Patel completed his externships in ocular disease at VA Medical Center Eye Clinic in Lake City, Florida and VA Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.
